THE GALILEE ENCOUNTER

 MEET ME IN GALILEE... AN INDISPENSABLE ENCOUNTER TO SUSTAIN THE RESURRECTED LIFE.


Jesus's resurrection from death has become an undisputable divine truth in human history. An attempt to stand antithetical is just a stubborn decision and fruitless efforts.


More so, every believers in Christ must experience this form of resurrection from the dead work. Indeed, we must passed from death to life (John 5.24)


Meanwhile, when Jesus rose from the dead, he instructed His disciples to meet Him at Galilee. 


There wouldn't have been any need for other meeting after resurrection if such were not of utmost importance to us and our continuity in the race of life. 


Matthew 28:16-20 KJV

Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, ALL POWER IS GIVEN UNTO ME IN HEAVEN AND EARTH. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I AM.WITH YOU ALWAY EVEN UNTO THE END OF THE WORLD. Amen.


There is no way any of Jesus's disciples could have function and sustain the faith without the assurance that the Master they served has all the power in the world. There is no way anyone would withstand the pressure and threat of the world without been assured that the One who send is with us always even when we goes through the fire and water. 


More than anything else, we need meet Jesus at Galilee. Let's get the assurance again that He has commissioned us to stand for Him and that we can count on His presence even in our darkest moment. 


Romans 8:11 KJV

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

I woke up this morning reading a lot of social media posts about the selected dates and days for the ORO festival in the part of the country where I live. Some were ecstatic, praising God for doing such a wondrous thing. However, others opined that such an acclaimed conversion is nothing but a business tactic. They argued that his affiliation with the Celestial Church indicates that he is merely religious and pretentious about his faith in Christ. This group believes that the Celestial Church is not a place to find a true Christian. (Please, wait before you start casting aspersions on anyone.)  The children of Israel came into the Land of Promise as a conglomerate of twelve tribes. They needed unity to reach that point. But once they arrived in Canaan, each tribe had to take possession of its own inheritance. What you take is what you get. At this stage, collective effort would not suffice—each tribe needed to claim and secure its portion for future generations.
