Matthew 1:21 Salvation or deliverance from SIN is the singular reason why the Son of God has to come from heaven to earth. How destructive is SIN that God has to send His Only Begotten Son to rescue man from it?  "Listen! The LORD's arm is not too weak to save you, nor is his ear too deaf to hear you call. It's your sins that have cut you off from God. Because of your sins, he has turned away and will not listen anymore" Isaiah 59:1-2.  One of the truths about SIN is that the gap and the separation it brought between human being and God cannot be bridge by man's moral conduct, religious rituals, or humanitarian aid.  Sincerely, God's power and sovereignty could not set aside SIN and reach out to man in his sinfulness.
