THE WICKEDNESS OF THE WICKED. 


"But if ye shall still do wickedly, ye shall be consumed, both ye and your king" 1 Samuel 12.25


How can we measure the damage of the wicked? 


How can wickedness be quantified? 


What's the gravity of the damage caused by the wicked? 


Have you experienced the act of the wicked? 


Let me draw you feasible attention to what I experienced as a farmer. I ploughed a four hectares of maize farm and applied a pre-emergent herbicide to control the perennial weed. I was relaxed after spending thousands in purchasing the herbicide. Unfortunately, my relaxed mind was disturbed when discovered that, the said pre-emergent herbicide was supposed to be labelled fertiliser; for it controlled nothing. However, I wasn't giving us easily as I purchased several of selective herbicide to curtail the weed from affecting the maize and its eventual produce. Yet, I was battered because the weed overthrew the maize and affected the yield. 


I have been twice beaten. And as I was reflecting on this bitter experiences, the Lord made me realised that, this is wickedness and is not in anyway different from a pastor who preached to satisfy his own hunger. Preaching to gratify the flesh. Preaching to please men and overturning the conscience of the gullible. When preaching leads men astray; making them to fear devil than reverencing God. 


This is not in any way different from a students who passed examination through malpractices. And parents who bribed for his children to pass an examinations or secured admission into institution. Not a glaring difference from those who produces substandard drugs for public consumption and wrecked the health conditions of those who patronise them. The sex for mark teachers and lecturers are members of the wicked world. When people abandoned the truth because their families falls a victim, they damaged the reputation of the guiltless and acted wickedly in punishing the wrong person. 


When a judge gets a bribe to prosecute the innocent, he can be sure that he is an agent of the devil although he is a church warden or deacon. When a wife or husband sacrificed the sanctity of their marriage for a passing pleasure. This is not just a sin but a wicked, dangerous and deadly act. 


When a pastor manipulate the vulnerable to his personal advantage, he is no more than the offspring of the prince of this world. 


I pray you won't board a vehicle on a long journey only to discover that the driver knew the vehicle has no break and careless about repairing it but to get money to pay his child School fees after he has been involved in a ghastly accident that claimed eighty percent on the passengers. 


Wickedness is everywhere. 


The question is, are you not part of this wicked generation?

I woke up this morning reading a lot of social media posts about the selected dates and days for the ORO festival in the part of the country where I live. RE: IS THE STORY OF ALHAJI WASIU AYINDE BARRISTER'S CONVERSION TO CHRISTIANITY REALLY TRUE?

Some were ecstatic, praising God for doing such a wondrous thing. However, others opined that such an acclaimed conversion is nothing but a business tactic. They argued that his affiliation with the Celestial Church indicates that he is merely religious and pretentious about his faith in Christ.  The children of Israel came into the Land of Promise as a conglomerate of twelve tribes. They needed unity to reach that point. But once they arrived in Canaan, each tribe had to take possession of its own inheritance. What you take is what you get. At this stage, collective effort would not suffice—each tribe needed to claim and secure its portion for future generations.
